I have been holding the Chair of Human Resources Management and Business Governance since October 2014, where I also lead the Master's program in Human Resources Management. With my research at the interface between HR and IT, I support people and organizations in recognizing their opportunities and redefining and shaping their roles. This includes topics of cooperation, organizational transformation, creativity, and innovative HR work.

I graduated and received my doctorate from the Vienna University of Economics and Business. After working as an AIM Postdoctoral Research Fellow at London Business School, I worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Information Systems I (Innovation and Value Creation) at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, where I wrote my habilitation thesis on the topic of "Management of Social Interaction". I then became head of the "Strategy and Organization" research group at the Fraunhofer Institute IMW in Leipzig. Research and teaching stays have brought me to the University of Melbourne and the University of Aarhus, among others. In addition to my research and teaching activities, I am active in several organizations and associations. For example, I was Vice President of the Executive Committee of the European Academy of Management until 2017. Since December 2018, I have been a member of the Academic Board of Directors at the Center for Leading Innovation and Cooperation (CLIC) at the HHL-Leipzig Graduate School of Management. In 2019, I founded the AI-HR Lab with colleagues from the field, which offers the opportunity to experiment in this field at the interface between science and practice. For me, this is closely linked to the question of how AI can achieve greater diversity and what role HR and organizational development can play in this. In this context, I supported Women in AI (WAI), a non-profit do-tank that advocates for more diversity and inclusion in the design of AI worldwide, as Chief People Officer (2021-2023). In 2022, I was named "Professor of the Year 2022" by the UNICUM Foundation in the category of economics and law for my commitment as a "Pioneer for Careers".

I have been a certified value-oriented systemic coach and consultant (CAS/ISO/ICI) since 2023.
